“Okoboji Sweet Retreat” is newly updated in 2023, bringing “new” throughout! You will enjoy a sweet view of East Okoboji while relaxing on the deck and sweet dreams on any of the six beds. The beautiful kitchen will make preparing your meals and snacks extra sweet.

Sleeping Accommodations:
This three-bedroom, two bath condo offers six beds for up to eight people:
The primary bedroom offers a king bed, walk-out door to the deck overlooking East Okoboji, a large private attached bathroom with two sinks, and a large closet with shelves and space for your items. You will also find a fireplace for a cozy feel on a cool night, a desk, and TV! Sweet Retreat!
The guest bedroom has a queen bed and window with a lake view and a TV. The closet offers shelves and luggage racks so there is nice space for all of your belongings. The room offers you space for sweet comfort!
The third bedroom features a full-sized bunk bed comfortably sleeping up to four. The design allows space for comfort and movement. The room has a large closet that provides space for your items on shelves and luggage racks. This sweet room is perfect for younger guests, but will accommodate adults as well (on the bottom bunk).
This is pretty sweet….and we are so excited that we can offer this unique option. You will find two very comfy couches in the living room are also queen-size sleeper sofas. What is super-sweet is that they offer a style that opens and closes with such ease by pulling from the center of the back cushion. This eliminates the removal of cushions or heavy pulling. In addition, the mattress is incredibly comfortable ensuring a sweet night’s sleep! In addition, all of the extras that you need if sleeping on the sleeper sofas are in the cabinetry in the living room, eliminating the need to go to another bedroom to find pillows, additional blankets, etc. You will even find space to keep your personal items. This allows larger groups to have space for everyone! Sweet!
The guest bathroom is located next to the bedrooms and offers a large sink and tub/shower combination. The laundry room includes full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.

Living, Cooking & Eating:
You will find the large living area with TV and fireplace with an INCREDIBLE lake view with the patio offering true tranquility. Two couches, two recliners, and an occasional chair that swivels will provide comfort and a setting for quality time, fun, and comfort!
The beautiful freshly stocked kitchen will accommodate all of your food preparation needs. You will find a new Kraus large stainless farmhouse sink with industrial faucet, Cuisinart coffee maker with thermal carafe and K-cup, Cuisinart four-slice toaster, Nutri-Bullet blender, air fryer, crock pot, and new utensils throughout. You will especially enjoy the wine glasses while enjoying the beautiful views! Sweetness throughout!
Gathering around the table to eat, drink, talk, play games, and make all of those truly sweet memories comes together while around the hand-made solid wood round table with six chairs. The kitchen bar area includes four swivel bar stool chairs keeping the activity together.
Wireless high speed internet will allow you to stay connected on all of your devices and the 3 new Smart TVs.
The outside deck offers simply an amazing view of East Okoboji! Some of your sweetest times will be soaking up the view of the lake! The large deck has a gas grill with an additional side burner. A new Blackstone was added this year providing additional options for food prep. There are 2 tables and 8 swivel chairs allowing your friends and family to gather together comfortably, all while enjoying the incredible lake view. The dimmable party lights and lounger will add to the ambiance and comfort. In addition, you will enjoy the great view of the nightly fireworks from the deck from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend!
Another sweet perk of staying at “Sweet Retreat” is that it is part of the Bridges Bay Resort. This gives you six free passes to the indoor/outdoor Water Park with swim-up bar every day as well as access to the 3 outdoor swimming pools. There are other options available including a Zip-Line, 24-hour game room, and well-equipped workout room. In addition, there is a stocked pond for fishing beside the zip line and ice cream stand. There are two outstanding restaurants on site, The Waterfront and Bracco’s. “Sweet Retreat” is steps away from the boat dock that includes a rail car for access to all to the lake.
